We're based in uMhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, and we operate as a registered importer and distributor — not a marketplace, not a listing aggregator. Every product in our catalogue has been selected by our team, sourced from vetted international suppliers, and sold under our own warranty and returns commitment. When something goes wrong, you deal with us directly.

The problem we set out to fix is straightforward: quality international technology has always been available to South Africans, but accessing it reliably — without inflated retail markups, customs surprises, or zero post-sale support — has been unnecessarily difficult. How We Get Products to You

We operate a hybrid distribution model that lets us offer a broader range without the overhead of warehousing everything locally — and we're upfront about how it works:

  • Local Stock — Delivered in 2–6 Business Days: High-demand lines are held at our uMhlanga distribution point and dispatched via local courier. These are the products we move regularly and keep close.
  • Supplier-Direct — Delivered in 6–13 Business Days: Specialised or lower-volume items ship directly from our international supply partners. These are the same vetted suppliers we use for our local stock — the difference is geography, not quality or accountability.

Regardless of which route your order takes, the transaction, the warranty, and the after-sales responsibility sit entirely with PMC TechLife. We are not a platform connecting you to third-party sellers. There is no ambiguity about who you're buying from.

Import Compliance and Duty Transparency

South Africa's import regulations are complex, and we've built our operation around full compliance rather than working around it.

All products are legally cleared through South African customs before or upon delivery. For orders under R2,000, we operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis — the price at checkout is the price you pay, with no additional customs charges on delivery. For orders over R2,000, any applicable import duties are disclosed clearly in our Shipping Policy before you complete your purchase.

We don't bury this in fine print. It's in our policy documentation because it matters.
